Guitar Hero Drum Tuning Program Download

  • MIDItar Hero is a program designed to let you use a Guitar Hero or Rock Band instrument as a MIDI controller. You can use MIDItar Hero to control synthesized sounds within an application that uses MIDI, such as GarageBand, Reason, or Live, or through an external device (synthesizer, keyboard, drum machine, etc.) if you have a MIDI interface.
  • Guitar Hero World Tour drum tuner now available Red Octane has pushed out a special drum tuning application for use with the Frank Caron - Nov 3, 2008 2:51 pm UTC.
  • As for Guitar Hero, while its wired SG controller works across the board, the drums do not. Since drums are more expensive than guitars (generally speaking) PS2 owners might be better off going with Rock Band for a full kit and picking up a Guitar Hero guitar for compatibility with Guitar Hero games.

FAQ

  • Which devices are known to work with DrumBrain?
- Rockband 1 wired drumset
- Rockband 2 wireless drumset
- Rockband 3 wireless drumset
- Rockband cymbals extension
- Guitar Hero World Tour drumset
- ION DrumBrocker
- Mad Catz portable Rockband drums
- XBOX 360 and One gamepads
- Various Rockband and Guitar Hero guitars
Rockband 4, and PS4 drumkits NOT currently supported. But if you can get it to work with Windows, and recognised as a Game Controller, then DrumBrain will use it.
  • Will you help me connect a device?
No, sorry. I cannot provide support for anything besides the software itself. Before you purchase DrumBrain, you have a device that is working, and recognized as a Game Controller (click here for details)
  • Will it work with [hardware/controller]?
If it's not listed above, it's not guaranteed to work. Before you purchase, make sure it connects to your PC and is recognized as a Game Controller (click here for details).
  • Will PS3controllers work?
PS3 controllers may require additional 3rd party software (install at your own risk). I do not offer support for getting controllers setup on your computer. Please ensure it works before purchasing.

TROUBLESHOOTING

  • I get an error message 'The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCR110.dll was not found...' when I run DrumBrain.exe
The Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable installer (vc_redist_x86.exe comes in the DrumBrain zip file), is required to install before attempting to run DrumBrain.
  • I get an error message 'OpenGL functions unsupported...' when I run DrumBrain.exe. What does this mean?
Update your video card drivers. If you've never done it, here's how.
Why do you need to do this? OpenGL drivers used to be provided with windows, but no longer. You must acquire them by updating your graphics adapter drivers. DrumBrain will work after you've done this, and you will also benefit from having up-to-date drivers.
  • When I hit a pad, there's an audible delay/latency. Can I do anything to improve this?
Maybe. Ensure you are using a WASAPI audio device. Go into Settings -> Audio, and test the devices under WASAPI tab. Use one that works.
If you're already using a WASAPI device, then your PC may be outdated. DrumBrain doesn't look it, but it's a high performance real time audio application, and benefits greatly from a fast computer.

Enhanced soundbanks for orchestra and ukulele

Guitar Pro's audio rendering makes use of a library that includes over 200 realistic instrument sounds, which allows you to fine-tune the sounds of the tracks in your compositions exactly as you wish. New musical notation elements

Notation now includes golpe, pick scrape, and dead slap. The writing of bends in standard notation has been enhanced, and we have improved the management of conflicts between the various elements of the score.

Tablature for all tracks

In addition to fretted instruments like guitars, standard notation gets automatically transposed into tablature — this on all tracks, including piano, voice or drums.

Connect your guitar to Guitar Pro

Plug your guitar into an external sound card connected to Guitar Pro and apply to it the effects exactly as they have been modeled for any track in a given file.

Polyphonic tuner

Simply brush down the six strings together to check their tuning in a single stroke.

New instrument banks

Many sounds have been added, including the dobro, flamenco, manouche, and 7-string nylon guitars, the electric sitar, fretless bass, jazz double bass, accordions, mellotron, harmonicas, bagpipe, new synthesizers, and drum machines.

Stereo sounds

You can choose between mono and stereo for all acoustic instruments, as well as add automatic spacialization to drumkits.

Simplified audio adjustments

Choose and modify your sound from over 1000 presets combining a soundbank and an effects chain.

Mixing MIDI/RSE

Guitar Pro 7.5 makes it possible, within any given single file, to mix tracks that use MIDI tones with others that use RSE tones.

Improved instrument views

The virtual-instrument (guitar, bass, banjo, piano, and drums) windows are resizable.

Lock your files

You may lock your file to prevent any accidental modification. You may also add a password to it, to keep it from being opened or edited.

New audio-export formats

MP3, FLAC and Ogg formats are available when exporting RSE (Realistic Sound Engine) tracks. It is also possible to export all tracks separately in a single operation.

MIDI and MusicXML formats
